Why Better Hope Exists
Why We Started
Since 2014, together with a few well-wishers, we began helping people in small ways using funds we collected ourselves — long before Better Hope Foundation existed as a formal organization. Our earliest efforts included Isse Puron (fulfilling wishes), Bari Fera (helping people return home), Khabar Deya (feeding the hungry), and helping one family become self-reliant.
Biggest Early Challenges
- 01Fundraising — a major challenge for any new organization.
- 02Building a dedicated team for a new foundation.
First Project
Project Shitolota — providing electric fans and essential comfort items to orphans and vulnerable children.
What Inspired Me
One day I met a child named Rasel. While talking about his family, I asked about his mother — and he answered, almost in disbelief, that he had never even received his mother’s care. I realized that although I had grown up with my own mother’s love and support, so many children around me had none of that. That moment convinced me to stand beside the helpless and underprivileged, and Better Hope Foundation was born from that resolve.
